Hotel Schweizer Hof Kassel, Kassel

During my business trip, the hotel impressed me with its innovative rotating TV-safe-wardrobe unit in the room, which worked really well. The room was spacious, furnished with modern furniture, but I had to deal with some traffic noise from the tram lines and cobbles outside, requiring me to keep the window closed for a peaceful stay.

The hotel offers a comfortable stay with spacious newly renovated rooms featuring a small kitchenette. The ingenious rotating TV-safe-wardrobe unit adds functionality to the room, although it faces the main street. The large bathroom is compact and well-designed. The service is friendly and the location is conveniently close to the train station. However, a lack of personal touch in service was noted. Guests enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and quick access to various attractions from the hotel. The facilities are well-maintained, offering a pleasant stay overall.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were a very good value for the money, and although facing the main street, I got upgraded to a 'penthouse' apartment due to a failure in their reservation system. However, the personal touch was lacking a bit in the service. The location is excellent, being very close to the main long-distance train station in Kassel, making it easy to get around quickly, but some noise disturbances were noted between 2-5am.

The hotel offers spacious rooms with a nice touch of technology for an excellent value. While the street noise can be bothersome, the overall experience is satisfactory.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms, despite having a rather garish carpet pattern, were clean and provided a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The service, especially at the reception desk, was very helpful and cordial. The location was excellent, being very close to the UNESCO site and the center of town. The dining experience was good with a nice range of options, and the facilities met my expectations.
